Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared for her first stage appearance. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut music album called This is Tina Time. Her first appearance in Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also established herself as a successful television director with various series like Supernatural and The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived her childhood. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
