Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class of Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A levels. Moffat selected her because of the ease with which she worked alongside Smith as well as the fact that she spoke faster than him. Out of all the roles Eva has appeared in on television shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that are the most notable. The latter brought her two nominations for a Daytime Emmy.' She also got to showcase her creativity through music. Eva as well as being an actress is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva is married three times with a daughter by her second partner.
